Cardiovascular Medical Device - Start up Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Territory Manager who will: 

  • Be responsible for driving medical product sales revenue within the designated territory.
  • Implement strategies and tactics to ensure strong physician and hospital market adoption within the assigned area.
  • Execute and deliver on key sales performance metrics such as physician and hospital adoption, reorder rates, etc.
  • Develop key relationships through frequent and routine customer visits, product demonstrations, product in-services, and case coverage support.
  • Build and maintain constructive internal relationships and effectively disseminates customer feedback and input within the organization.
  • Communicate with the VP of Sales and the Senior Executive Team on what’s working and what’s not and maintain flexibility to adapt sales strategies and tactics as necessary to meet sales targets.
     

Qualifications

  • Must live within the designated sales territory
  • 5+ years in relevant medical device sales experience with at least 3 years in Interventional Cardiology and/or Peripheral sales
  • Existing knowledge of the cardiology and peripheral markets within the territory and existing, established relationships with Interventional Cardiology physicians/Cath Lab staff
  • Preferred prior experience selling a new, value added, adjunctive technology into the Interventional Cardiology suite that required hospital value analysis committee approval (i.e. Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR), Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS), Optical coherence tomography (OCT), vascular closure type products)
  • Must have ability to become hospital vendor credentialed (i.e. Reptrax, Vendormate, VCS)
  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • Documented sales success and leadership 
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
